The old lighthouse on Lundy Island (known as The old Light) was built in 1820. It is longer in use, there are now two other lighthouses on the extremities of the Island. Today it is used for holiday accommodation.

Lundy Island, approximately three miles long and half a mile across, lies off the coast of North Devon. It is a beautiful unspoilt island and a haven for wildlife.

There has been a small port at Minehead since 1380. The jetty was built in 1420.
